Dr. Saranathan received his Bachelors degree both in Biology and Psychology from Houston Baptist University, and his doctorate from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Loyola University in Chicago and then moved to Houston to complete his Nephrology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

After completing his fellowship at Baylor, Dr. Saranathan joined the Kidney Health Center. He has since coZ founded Axis Dialysis, a company that offers acute dialysis services to multiple hospitals in the Greater Houston area.

He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and a member of the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, and Renal Physicians Association.

Dr. Saranathan speaks both Spanish and Tamil.
