Dr. Rupal Patel is a board-certified nephrologist and the founder and medical director of Orbis Vascular. He brings over 25 years of experience in kidney care and vascular access procedures.
A graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Patel completed his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Baylor, graduating with honors.
Dr. Patel specializes in chronic kidney disease, dialysis management, and vascular interventions. Known for his patient-centered approach and innovative care, he is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Spanish.
He also has advanced expertise in performing vascular and interventional procedures, including:
• Ellipsys™ and WavelinQ™ endovascular AV fistula creation, minimally invasive options for dialysis access
• Dialysis catheter insertion and removal.
Dr. Patel welcomes new patients and offers both in-person and telehealth appointments.
